ABOUT RAYMOND PLUMBING HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING
A Legacy Built on Family, Service, and Integrity
In 1957, Wayne Raymond founded Raymond Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning with a simple but powerful goal: to provide quality workmanship and reliable service to families across Northeast Ohio. Working alongside his wife, Lena, Wayne built a reputation rooted in honesty, value, and doing the job right the first time.
Their son Brian joined the company in 1975, learning the business directly from his parents. In 1979, their oldest son Keith returned to Lorain and rejoined the family business as well. Together, the family worked side by side to continue growing Raymond’s presence and impact in the community.
Following Wayne’s passing in 1986, Lena, Keith, and Brian continued to lead the company with the same dedication and family values it was founded on. After years of hard work, Lena retired in 1995. In 2000, their daughter Shelly stepped into the family business, helping carry the Raymond legacy into a new generation.
Keith remained a key part of the company until his passing in October 2022. Brian, after nearly 50 years of service, retired in 2025—leaving behind a remarkable legacy of leadership and commitment.
In January 2023, longtime work associate Mike Sherrill took ownership of Raymond Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning. With deep respect for the company’s roots, Mike continues to lead the business with the same values it was built on: integrity, hard work, and exceptional service. Today, Raymond proudly serves Lorain, Sandusky, Cleveland, and the surrounding communities—bringing comfort, care, and quality to every home we enter.
