Full job description
Installs pipes into new construction projects using pipe cutters, pipe wrenches, plumbers torch, and other specialized tools and techniques.
Assembles pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
Installs pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, or fixtures such as sinks or toilets, using hand or power tools.
Fills pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
Maintains or repairs plumbing by replacing defective washers, replacing or mending broken pipes, or opening clogged drains.
Measures, cuts, threads, or bends pipe to required angle, using hand or power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, or pipe-bending machines.
Maintains records of work orders and completes all required paperwork related to service calls including invoicing and billing; stored within bank bags and company provided phones, including in Field Edge Software.
Complies with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
Ensures company vehicles are cleaned and stocked with maintenance parts and supplies; restocks supplies on a weekly basis according to the supply checklist.
Maintains tools and trucks and reports maintenance needs to management for approval.
Operates lifts, tow motors, other equipment as necessary.
Notifies the owner if any issues or concerns arise with a job.
Orders parts and supplies; obtains approval from the owner as needed.
