Our air conditioning and heating performance and safety checks cover a wide-range of common issues with your furnance, air filters, humidifiers, indoor and outdoor units and complete heating, cooling and ventalation systems. Our scheduled maintenance program will keep your system running like it was designed to, saving you on monthly utility bills and keeping you comfortable all year long!
What Happens Durring an Air Conditioning Performance Check:
After we thoroughly check thermostat operation, we then check the following
At Furnace:
- Check air filter, clean or replace if needed.
- Inspect blower motor(oil bearings if applicable) and assembly.
- Take amperage reading of blower motor.
- Inspect condensate drain, flush if necessary.
- Check evaporator coil performance.
- Check temperature drop across evaporator.
- Check unit operation according to charging calculator.
- Clean furnace cabinet
- Cycle system through one complete cycle.
- Reset thermostat
- Give writing diagnostic of report findings.
At Outdoor Unit:
- Inspect condenser coil.
- Inspect all electrical connection in condensing unit
- Check service valves and service port caps.
- Check compressor voltage.
- Check contactor contacts for voltage drop.
- Read and record compressor discharge gas temperatures.
- Read and record suction line temperatures.
- Read and record liquid line temperatures.
What Happens Durring a Heating Performance Check:
- Check air filter, clean or replace if needed.
- Check thermostat operation.
- Check pilot ignition sequence.
- Observer main burner operation.
- Check flue draft on natural draft furnaces.
- Test fan switch/heating fan delay operaion.
- Check primary limit operation.
- Cycle furnace off and record "fan off" temperature.
- Visually inspect heat exchanger.
- Check blower wheel for cleanliness
- Check blower motor, lubricate if applicable.
- Check furance temperature rise.
- Fire furnace, leak-check gas line from manual shut-off.
- Check auxiliary limit swich operation.
- Check humidifer operation.
- Clean furnace cabinet.
- Cycle system through one complete cycle.
- Give written diagnostic of report of findings.
Term and Conditions for Comfort Performance Plan
Term of contract: (1) heating season and (1) cooling season.
Priority Customer Status -Feel better knowing if you have a emergency breakdown, you will have preferred scheduling over non-members.
No Worry Scheduling - We will contact you in the Spring and Fall to schedule your system performance check.
System Longevity and Efficiency -Regular maintenance will help to insure energy efficiency and extend the life of your equipment. As well as keeping your manufacturer warranties intact.
